Cha Cha Scraps 8

I told you on Friday that over the weekend I would start showing you cards I've made with my new Janome Sew Mini sewing machine. Well....it was a very busy weekend and needless to say, time got away from me. I didn't get pictures taken of them until just now.

Also, another apology is for the dull lighting in my pictures. I'm still trying to figure out the best position for my Sunlight lamp when taking pictures of my cards in my new office. So far, it's nothing but frustrating!

But anyway, this is the FINAL card made from scraps of my Cha Cha paper collection by TAC. WOO HOO!! Another paper set all used up!

The stamp set is from Inkadinkado and the dots background is a Martha Stewart stamp.

Here's the inside. I also used a Fiskars border punch in three places on this card.

As for my new Janome machine, here's my thoughts: I love that it has 3 sizes of both straight and zig-zag stitches. It only has one speed, but I love that it's fairly slow (to me at least) which is good for small work like cards. I love that it's very easy to thread the machine and to wind bobbins. I love the compact size and light weight. I do wish that it had a carrying handle and also a light so these old eyes could better see what I'm doing, but those are my only complaints. Overall, a great little machine for the price!

I'm scheduling several more posts for this week, so check back! Tootles!

I really like this card! It's funny!! The border punched pieces are really pretty! I like that you were able to incorporate 3 in this card and it looks fabulous! I have not seen this machine before so I appreciate the info. on it!
