40th Anniversary card

My husband's family had a surprise celebration for his aunt and uncle's 40th wedding anniversary. This is the card I made for them.

So it didn't really turn out "elegant" like I wanted to do, but it's ok. I did some scoring with my Scor-Pal. The white border piece is by Bazzill and the flowers are Prima and Bazzill.

Last weekend, Grandma Ann had wrapped Aubrey's birthday presents together with tulle instead of ribbon. I just couldn't throw it away though. You know how you save stuff thinking "I might use that some day!" Well, I added a small piece of it in the center of the flower! This is something I've never seen on any other card (not saying no one else has ever thought of it though, LOL!) but I like it. Obviously I couldn't put it in an envelope but I had a cute little gift bag to use. So I put their gift card and this card in the bag.

Thanks for stopping by, Tootles!
