It's A-maze-ing!

As I've mentioned before, The Angel Company has released their Spring Supplement. Brand new this time is "Project Cards"! On each page of the Supplement, there is an index card sized project tutorial that you can cut out and save. You can also see these project cards on TAC's website under Promotions > Spring Supplement > Project Cards.
I got the inspiration for this project from the "Sweet Swirls Album" project card. I've also seen this technique called "Maze Book". You begin with a 12" x 12" piece of cardstock and score at 3", 6", and 9" in both directions. Once again, I used my Scor-pal. The great thing about the Scor-pal is you can make all three score lines without even moving your cardstock! Next, you will cut on three of the score lines. You can see the diagram HERE that shows you where to cut.

For my Maze Book, I used (2) 4" x 4" coasters for the front and back of the book. They are covered with Frutti Fusion Wing It Collection paper by TAC. To cover the coasters, I cut my paper to 5 1/2" x 5 1/2", mitered the corners, and glued the sides on the back. Then I covered the back with a 3 7/8" x 3 7/8" piece of plain white cardstock.

I punched 3 holes in each coaster with my Crop-a-Dile, added eyelets, and used ribbon to hold the book together. I also added two Bazzill Bitty Blossoms and Crystal Brads to the front cover. You can get both of these items through TAC also. Since I had already covered the back of the coaster, I put the brads through the blossoms only, and then adhered them with glue dots. Next time, I will put the brads through the coaster before gluing the back piece on!
The pages are folded accoridan-style. Three pages have the edges facing out so I fastened the corners together with an eyelet to create tag pockets. I stamped random sayings and quotes on the pages as well as various swirls and images. I also stamped several shapes with my Mega and Giga Scalloped punches from various patterns from the Frutti Fusion paper. Those shapes are on various pages throughout the book as well.
I used Colorbox Fluid Chalk inks to complete this project. The stamps sets I used were:
Oh How, by TAC
Swirly Gigs, by TAC
Circle Sampler, by TAC
Refuge and Strengh, by SU!

This would also make a great little photo album! Either way, it makes a great gift and it's very fun to make.

Hope it inspires you! Have a great day!

Tootles!
