I recently made my first purchase with Clear Dollar Stamps and received my order SO quickly! One of the sets I chose was Sweet Jesus and it's perfect for the Chocolate Blitz I have been doing. (Plus I'm such a sucker for PUNS!)
I designed this little "caddy" to hold a mini Twix candy bar just for this sentiment. It is so simple but so cute!
I cut my cardstock 7 1/2" x 2". Then with my Scor-pal, I scored at 3 1/2", 4 1/2", 6", and 7". In between the last two score lines, I cut a circle with the smallest groove on my Coluzzle Nested Circles template. The 1/2" tab left over at the end is glued to the back of the "caddy" to hold it all together, but it's covered with the ribbon so it doesn't show.
I stamped the sentiment with Brilliance Coffee Bean ink, then used a tag punch for the red and white layers.
Here's a side view. It stands up all by itself.
These would be soooo neat for place settings at a church dinner! Quick'n'easy too!
Make it a great day, Tootles!

Here's the third project in my Chocolate Blitz this week. (I may add more at a later date - I have some new stamps coming! ::wink::)
I came across Karen's 2 pack Nugget Purse, but again - who am I to leave well enough alone, LOL! I made it bigger to hold three nuggets. Who can stop at just two?! (ok, let's be honest - who can stop at THREE, LOL!)
I used double-sided cardstock by K&Co. cut to 4" x 4 1/2".
With the 4 1/2" side across the top of the Scor-pal, score at 1", 1 1/2", 3", and 3 1/2".
Turn cardstock so the 4" side is across the top. Score at 1/2" and 3 1/2".
As shown in the picture above, cut and remove the 1/2" side sections from the 3" score line to the 4 1/2" end. Also, round the two corners on the end and add red-lined tape (or a good glue) where shown in the picture.
Cut a 7" piece of ribbon (no wider than 1/2") and place it on the inside of the box with the red-lined tape. The picture above gives better details.
Now adhere the sides together with the remaining two pieces of red-lined tape, placing the tiny tabs on the inside of the box.
The top flap will tuck down inside the "purse".
Embellish as desired. I left it pretty simple and just added a ribbon and bow with more red-lined tape.

Here's a close-up of how I did the "faux bow".
I hope you've enjoyed these three Chocolate Blitz projects just in time for Valentine's Day goodies!
Enjoy your weekend, Tootles!

If you make one of these using my tutorial, be sure to leave your direct link - I'd LOVE to see it!

Here is my second project in my Chocolate Blitz - it's the "Ten Rules of Chocolate"!
My inspiration came from Charlene who made a "Chocolate Book". But who am I to leave well enough alone, LOL! Of course I had to take the general idea and run with it.....
Here's how my thought process begins - with scribbles, notes, measurements, etc.
I've gotten these chocolate "tips" in emails many times before so it was high time I use them in a project like Charlene did! I love it!
Supplies I used:
(All items from The Angel Company, except the brads)
Penelope Soar With It Collection
Penelope Cardstock
Penelope Ribbon
Seeds of Blessings stamp set
Scor-Pal
Versamagic Eggplant ink
1/2" circle punch
Recollections brads
Computer generated title, rules, and back tag.
I designed the "pouch" to be just the right height so that when you place your Hershey bar down in it, the letters HERS show at the top. Because this chocolate is HERS! heehee, pretty cute huh?!

I hope you are enjoying my Chocolate Blitz this week. I have one more project to show you which I hope to have scheduled for Friday.

Make it a great day, Tootles!
The other day I showed you a Hidden Drawer Card that I had made and promised a tutorial. So I made another Hidden Drawer Card and took pictures this time. I think I mentioned in the other post that I changed the measurements slightly from other tutorials I've seen online. Also, the other tutorials use Hershey Nuggets in their drawer so I decided to be different and use a Reece's Peanut Butter Cup. The drawer does hold SIX Nuggets beautifully though!
On with the directions:
Supplies I used:
(ALL supplies are from The Angel Company)
Cha Cha Soar With It Collection
Cha Cha Cardstock
Mega Scalloped Circle Punch
All Occasion Circles stamp set
Kid Praises stamp set
Seeds of Blessing stamp set
Palette L'Amore Red ink
Versamagic Hint of Pesto ink
Versamagic Pumpkin Spice ink
Scor-Pal
White gel pen
Directions:
To make the drawer, cut your cardstock 4 13/16" x 4 13/16". Score it at 15/16" on all four sides. I know these are odd measurements, but my drawer fits perfectly! Another way to do this is to cut the cardstock 4 15/16" x 4 15/16", score at 1" on each side, then trim 1/16" off of each side. Whatever is easiest for you.
Make ONE cut at each corner, fold the flaps in and glue in place.
Cover the front and back sides with patterned cardstock cut to 3/4" x 2 3/4".
To make the card part, cut your cardstock to 3" x 11 7/8". With the long side across the top of your Scor-pal, score at 3", 4", 7", 8", and 11".
Fold it and glue the flap in place as shown in the picture above. Notice at the red arrow, the flap fold rests just under the scored line. And the blue arrow shows how the flap does NOT go all the way down to the bottom.
To make my Reece's Peanut Butter cup "sandwich", I cut the cardstock to 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". With a little dot of glue, I put one on top and bottom. This cup is one that comes 8 to a pack for about $1. (.55 ounce per cup)
Decorate and embellish the rest however you want. Whatever floats your boat, lol! Here are some more pics of mine:

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT - I already have my two other Chocolate Blitz projects done and pictures taken for tutorials! I'm VERY excited about them! And just like this Hidden Drawer Card, I got my inspiration from other projects seen online but made changes to make them "my own". I hope to schedule the next one for Wednesday. HINT: It uses a full sized Hershey chocolate bar.
If you get my posts by email subscription or a feeds reader, you may get another "unfinished" post this evening. I deleted it and tried again though. I was pre-sceduling a post for Friday and hit "publish" WAY to soon, LOL! I guess you'll have a sneak peek! heehee

Be sure to leave me a link if you make one. I'd love to see it! Please use the direct link to your project, THANKS!
