I have THREE projects I'm making with CHOCOLATE items - you will love them! And just in time for Valentine's Day!
Ok, so two of them are still "in my head". I haven't actually MADE them yet but I DO have the chocolate so I have to make them SOON or there'll be no chocolate left, LOL! I'm using:
Reece's Peanut Butter Cups (ones that come in an 8 pack for about $1)
Hershey Nuggets
Hershey Milk Chocolate full sized candy bar
So here's the first one I have made (and I hope to put a tutorial up within a few days! I'm having tutorial withdrawals, how about you? LOL!)
HIDDEN DRAWER CARD
I think I had seen these somewhere online at least a year ago and had forgotten all about them! Then my friend Carol posted one on her blog so I tracked down some basic measurements, tweaked them a bit for my taste, and made my own!
Here's the front. I used a Nestabilities Labels One die for the top layer and sponged the edges with Brilliance Moonlight White ink. Then I used a Giga Scalloped Square Punch for the pink. The stamp set used on this project is called "Forever" from The Angel Company, stamped with Palette L'Amore Red and Noir inks.
When you open the card part, there is a "Happy Valentine's Day" wish and a place to sign. You can kind of see where I added the Labels One die shape on top of the front card flap here.
And if you pull out the little hidden drawer, there's a treat inside!
I coordinates with the front of the card, except straight edges on the red layers.
And there's how I made the sandwich with the Reece's Peanut Butter Cup in the middle. I put just a little dot of glue in the center to hold each piece of cardstock to the wrapper.
Hope you enjoyed this project! As I mentioned, I will be posting a tutorial for this soon. There are other tutorials out there, but I did change a few little measurements so things fit together better for me.
Enjoy your weekend, Tootles!
