Gift Box 2

First of all, gotta say Happy Birthday to my mommy!
**************************************************

Ok, If you saw yesterday's post, then you are expecting to see a larger version of that gift box. And I aim to please! :D

I left the top pretty simple - it's all about the paper here! Speaking of the paper, it's by My Mind's Eye. It's a glitter stack called Festive & Frost and it is gorgeous!

So anyway, I first cut the top and bottom layers from the largest Labels One Nestibilities die. Then I measured across it, leaving room for some overhang on the sides and got 3". Added 1" to each side of that (for scoring to create the sides of the box) and got 5". Therefore, I cut my cardstock 5" x 5", scored at 1" on every side, cut a flap in each corner adhering them on the inside, and created my box. Do the same thing for the top, but make it just ever so slightly larger. I'm talking like 1/8" each way.

And there ya have it - my way of thinking when I'm having a brainstorm, LOL!

The sentiment is from a retired stamp set by The Angel Company called "Christmas Blessings".

Remember - Blog Treat coming your way tomorrow!!!

Enjoy your weekend, Tootles!

This gift box is adorable! If creating the gift box wouldn't give me away, I'd make tons! It'd be perfect for little Secret Santa treats!
