Flamingo cards

At church, we have a "cropping" group called Croppers4Christ. We get together twice/month to do stamping or scrapbooking, either for ourselves or for a ministry at church whenever it is needed. This month we were asked to make "thank you" cards for all of the Vacation Bible School workers. Since our VBS theme is "Outrigger Island" (kind of a tropical/Hawaiian type theme), I made my cards with that in mind.

I have 6 to show you so I'll spread them out over a few days. All of the cardstock is retired from CTMH and was donated to our Croppers group.

The lighting isn't very good on any of these pictures - I apologize!

I used the stamps sets Tickled Pink and Be Authentic from The Angel Company. I also used a plastic canvas circle as a guide for piercing the holes and scored around the edges with my Scor-Pal.

The stamp sets used here are Tickled Pink and Paisley Words by The Angel Company.

I have a fun Bind-It-All tutorial scheduled to show up here tomorrow (6/21/08), so there will be two more Flamingo cards to see on 6/22/08! Tootles!

These ones look pretty nice. Shame I don't like flamingos. lol. Maybe because we don't have those here in Puerto Rico. But you did a pretty job with them. I've done the canvas thanks to Diana, and I just love the technique!
