Dahlia cards

Here's another "old" technique I dug out of my notebook so I could try it again - the dahlia fold.

I used double-sided paper from K&Company along with cardstock from Papertrey Ink.

I actually made two cards, but I used opposite sides of the patterned paper on the flower. See the difference? I can't decide which one I like best, lol!

Here's what the inside of both cards look like.

Thanks for hanging out with me for a little bit today, Tootles!

Vicki, lovely card, colors soft and pretty. Any ideas on where I can get el-cheapo sewing machine to do those zigzag stiches I luv? They add a lot on your cards. Thanks, Sharon NJ

Gorgeous cards Vicki! I'll have to try making some dahlia flowers soon and use them on a card.
