My friend Patti helped me come up with my shop name:
Pretty cool, huh?!
And here's the very first card I posted for sale:
I got a new Ranger Distress Ink pad in the color Tea Dye and this is the first time I used it. First, I cut the shape with a Nestabilities Curved Rectangle die, then ran it through my Cuttlebug with a Textile embossing folder. Next, I ran the ink pad directly over the embossing and also sponged some in the background. I lightly sprayed it with water and used a heat gun to dry it. The last thing I did was ink the edges with Palette Burnt Umber ink. I like the "vintage" look of that piece! Click on the picture for a larger view.
The inside.
I originally made this card for the September Guest Designer position over at Clear Dollar Stamps. I LOVE their stamps - the selection, quality, and price are all great! This month, Lori gave a challenge of using a sketch and/or a color combo to enter the contest. You can see the challenge HERE. I chose to use the color combo as I love these colors together!
Be sure to check out my Hook Shop over at Etsy.com! I have 4 cards listed so far and I'll probably be putting some of my Christmas cards in there too. But I've spent WAY too much time getting it all set up today! I'm on overload, lol! Thanks for looking, Tootles!
