My 2009 goal and January TAC Specials

This is going to be a long post so bear with me!

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I hope you all have a great 2009 and reach all (ok, MOST - let's be real, LOL!) of the goals you've set for yourself this year! My goal is this:

To actually USE the Card Keeper I made last year. I love and enjoy making cards and other items soooo much! They're little works of art! BUT, I am NOT good at giving or sending cards and other handmade gifts! I just hoard and collect them. Some of them I like so much I don't want to part with them. And some I feel aren't good enough to give out, so what to do, what to do.....

Anyway, I plan to actually write down birthdays in my Card Keeper, have the cards ready at the beginning of that month with envelope and all, and write the mailing date in the corner of the envelope where the stamp will go. We'll see how long this plan lasts, LOL! We get a list of birthdays each month in the bulletin at church and a lot of my friends are from church, so that will help a lot! Hopefully I don't forget anyone!!! But I'll make some special belated birthday cards, just in case.

I'm also going to repeat the goal I've made and reached the last two years - to make a few Christmas cards each month so that I don't have to stress over it in December. Some months were missed but I played catch-up and it worked out great!

Now on to some VERY exciting and FUN news about The Angel Company!!! There are several fun things going on for January, so buckle your seatbelts and come along for this journey. (All of these are also listed at the top of my sidebar on the right side of this page.)

SPECIAL #1
The Wonderful Winter Wishes promotion is still going on. Until February 2nd, you can purchase any of these 5 special stamp sets at a discount ($30 purchase required first). Also, qualifying hostesses get a set free in addition to their regular benefits (which set you get depends on the amount of sales/order reached). AND, during this promotion, new angels get an additional $50 in T-coded stamps added to their starter kits!

SPECIAL #2
Click HERE and enter to win this Lily Anna package! One entry per household, no purchase required.

SPECIAL #3
The Vintage stamp set that TAC has re-released for January is called Bella Flor. Check it out HERE. The retail value is $22.95 but you can get it this month for $17.95. Hurry, because after January it will be gone again!

SPECIAL #4
January's Stamp of the Month is called Dropping Boxes. THESE stamps are great for Nugget labels, backgrounds, tags, etc. The retail values is $12.95, but you can get this set for $9.75 with any $30 purchase. Again, during January only!
I was thrilled to be asked by TAC to make some samples with this set for their website. I'll give more details on that in my next post!

SPECIAL #5
And this is the most exciting thing - a brand new promotion for TAC! It's called Spec-TAC-ular Savings! January 6th - 26th, all T-coded stamps in the TAC catalogue are HALF PRICE!!! That's right, 50% off! WOWSA! I don't know of any other company that has done this. So choose as many as you want and let me know! I'll get them ordered for you! (This does not apply to the R-coded stamps). Click on the flyer to enlarge it for more details.

So those are the specials. Should be enough to keep you busy shopping this month, LOL! (Just doing my duty to help you spend some Christmas cash, heehee). But I have one more TAC announcement that I don't think I've shared yet on here.

You may know that TAC had switched from an annual catalogue to bi-annual. And when they did that, the stamp images were reduced to 70% so they could fit more in the smaller catalogue. WELL......They are now going back to an ANNUAL catalogue with FULL SIZED images! It will be called the Base Book and the next one will be released Summer 2009. The current Fall/Winter 2008 Inspiration Book & Catalogue is good until then.

In place of the bi-annual catalogue that was supposed to be released at the end of this month, TAC is going to put out a 48-page Magalogue. It's a cross between a magazine and a catalogue. We'll get 48 pages of brand new stamps and accessories! The plan is to release one of these in between each annual Base Book as a "supplement".

They have also been consistently giving us new fun and exciting promotions every month. TAC rocks and I can't wait to see what the rest of 2009 brings!

*****************************************************

Ok, you are probably on overload right now with all of this information. So I'll let you digest it, and I'll be back with my post about my Stamp of the Month samples I made for TAC!

Tootles!
