Sketch Challenge

Today was the first full day of school for my kids! Well, they got out at 2:00 instead of the normal 3:00 but still.... They're off to a very late start this year since flooding destroyed our high school back in June and they had to bring in portable classrooms. The whole process in dealing with FEMA and government grants took some time. They were supposed to start August 21. But anyway, the elementary school didn't start on time either so that they can all be on the same schedule. I'm glad since I have kids at both schools! It's a long story (like we're getting a brand new high school!) but anyway.....I finally had some "me" time today!

I have several blog posts pre-scheduled all the way to the middle of October of cards I've made over the Summer. But today's post is "current", LOL!

I was "tickled pink" to be able to do Jennifer's sketch challenge this week! HERE is Jennifer's post with her sketch.

And here is my sample (obviously I turned the sketch sideways):

The stamp set is called Tickled Pink by The Angel Company. As I was making this card, I also took pics for a tutorial on making the ribbon flower AND pics for a tutorial showing how I use my Cuttlebug embossing borders without them leaving a line on the edge. So stay tuned!!!!

This was a fun sketch to do Jennifer, THANK YOU!

Have a great day everyone, Tootles!
