Color Throwdown Challenge #10

I participated in the Color Throwdown Challenge #10 for this week. With Sept. 11th being the 7th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, their color combo challenge this week was any version of red, white, and blue.

Here's what I came up with:

The cow is from the stamp set An Udder Birthday by The Angel Company . I stamped it with Brilliance Graphite Black ink on watercolor paper, then embossed with Sparkle embossing powder. I colored it with Tombow markers and a water brush. The sentiment is something I came up with and made on the computer. I crack myself up sometimes, BWAHAHAHA!

Closer view.

I'm also a member of Paper Wings, an online forum for demonstrators (angels) of The Angel Company. Their inspiration challenge was also "patriotic" for this past week, so this card doubles for that too. Speaking of Paper Wings, I'm on the Wingers Design Team over there and I was chosen as the "Featured Winger" this month! Can I get a WHOOP WHOOP! (Thanks!)

Ok, gotta get. My ribbon flower tutorial should be up later today. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Tootles!

That is awesome that you were a featured Winger and I love this card! It is awesome and the 4th of July just happens to be my favorite holiday of the entire year so you can imagine how much I love this card!
Thanks for sharing this project with me for my challenge!
