Oh How!

This is a color combo I've used several times, in varying shades. Gotta love pink, green, and yellow together!

Speaking of Retro Journal Tags, here's what the images look like in the catalogue:

Well, I really liked the swirly borders and I could think of so many things to do with these frames, if only the journaling lines weren't there! I don't scrapbook anymore so I had no need for those. So...........here's what I did:

I used some sharp scissors to cut out the journaling lines of the rubber. Then mounted the sheet of rubber on the Creative Cling cushion, replaced the journaling line pieces inside the frames, and cut through the cushion this time. It worked wonderfully! I didn't want to try cutting both layers at the same time, since it was a tight fit in some places to get between the journaling lines and the frame. And I still have those lines in case I ever do want to use them!

Sometimes, you've just gotta think outside the box!

Tootles!

I do this, too! It's like you get twice the use out of one set!

The retro tags happen to currently be my favorite stamp set. Instead of cutting out the journal lines. I just stamped on another piece of paper and cut it down to the same size to cover the lines. I've pop dotted it that way too. I guess either way would work. I'm just a chicken about cutting the centers out.

You clever clever girl. I am such a wimp when it comes to "cutting apart" my stamps. I may do this if I get this set.
