Q.T. Hooty

edited to add: oops! I meant to schedule this post for next week but got in a hurry and hit "publish" instead. So you get two new posts today! Enjoy!

I now own my very first stamp set from Pink Cat Studio. This set is called "Q.T. Hooty" and they are so much fun to play with! I have made several cards with this set already. Here's a couple of them:

This image was stamped with Brilliance black ink on watercolor paper, then embossed with Sparkle embossing powder. I colored it with Tombow markers and a water brush.

We stampers know there's no such thing as a mistake, right?! Just opportunities to get more creative! Well, when I was making the dots around the edge of the image layer, I accidenally smeared a couple. So.....I went ahead and smeared several more, hoping it would look like Mr. Owl is in a snow storm, LOL!

Anyway, I used some plastic needlepoint canvas as a guide for making all of these dots with a black Tombow marker and white Souffle gel pen.

This image was stamped with Palette Noir ink and colored with Tombow markers and a water brush. I cut the corner notches out using my SU! Slit Punch, added some Prima flowers with Stickles in the center, made a scalloped border with my corner rounder punch and wa-la! A pretty cute card!

I'll post more Q.T.Hooty cards soon! Tootles!
