I love you with all my hoot!

First, a quick update - I have heard from all of my blog candy winners and prizes have been sent out! YAY!

Ok, now the card. I haven't had a lot of stamping mojo lately. AT ALL! This week I wanted to enter two different challenges and normally I would make two cards. But since I haven't been in much of a stamping mood, I combined them into one card. Here it is:

CHALLENGES:
Color challenge at the Clear Dollar Stamps blog (CIC6)
Katie challenged us to make something using the colors red, black, and white (with a little pink if we wanted. I didn't use any even though I love pink.)

Sketch challenge at the MojoMonday blog (MOJO124)
They always have cool card sketches there, but I usually don't get my cards made before the deadline to enter, lol.

Close up

And here's the inside. I was going to stamp "Happy Valentine's Day" inside but decided to leave it blank. This card could really be used for lots of occasions.

I used the What a Hoot stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps with Basic Grey Wassail patterned paper, some Nestabilities, and a Fiskars border punch.

That's it for today. Thanks for checking in, Tootles!

  3. Vicki, I received my "Blog Candy" today. What a great box of goodies! I just love it. Thanks a bunch and I am going to play with all the new stamps and stuff. This will really jump start my creativity as I have had some foot surgery and am in a wheelchair for awhile and wasn't feeling too "artsy". this has really changed my attitude! Than ks sooo much.
