Christmas Gift Basket

Geesh, I haven't blogged in so long! And well, with working full time I really don't have time to do anything creative so this blog has been pretty neglected. However, I put together a cute little Christmas gift basket for a friend to give her child's teacher and thought I would share it with you. Very simple. Very quick. Very easy. Right up my alley!
I found the container at a thrift shop.  It looks brand new and was only 25 cents.  Not trying to be "cheap" - I really thought it was cute!  Ok, I'm cheap too, lol.

Bottle of A&W Root Beer with the tag "You are AW-some!"

Measuring cup full of candy, and the tag says:
"No one can MEASURE up to you
But we're doing our best to try.
We appreciate all of the kindness you show,
A kind of kindness you just can't buy.
This Christmas gift is sent your way
To wish a full measure of holiday cheer.
May your cup overflow with joy and peace,
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!"

Box of peppermint taffy with the tag "Teachers like you are worth a MINT!"

Wire whisk with candy and a tag that reads "We WHISK you a Merry Christmas!"

A dish towel/dish cloth set, and this poem:
"This Christmas you deserve the best...
...a present unlike all the rest.
We considered a new car, or exotic cruise,
but decided on something you could really use!
Finally, we found a gift to admire,
we hope you like your new washer and dryer!"

Ok, so like I said - it's pretty simple.  But I like the way it all turned out!
Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
